We invite everyone who will be in Wellington next Thursday, the 14th of April to come down to The Marketplace.

This will be your opportunity to learn about the innovative projects being undertaken by councils throughout the country. There will be 15 exhibition spaces staffed by council representatives knowledgeable in the projects being showcased. The 15 are a selection of the 31 projects entered in the 2016 McGredy Winder Taituarã Local Government Excellence Awards. At The Marketplace we will also be showing all the videos submitted with the Excellence Award project entries.

The Marketplace, sponsored by Streamliner, will be open in the Cable Room, Mac's Function Centre on Wellington's Waterfront from noon on the 14th of April. It will be open till 5.30pm, for those who aren't attending our Gala Dinner that evening, and entrance is free.

It will remain open for Gala Dinner guests until about 6.15pm as pre-Dinner drinks will be served in The Marketplace room. If you're wanting plenty of time to check out the projects the best - i.e. quietest - times to visit The Marketplace will be between 1pm and 3pm and between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.

A reminder too that tickets to our Gala Dinner on the night of the 14th of April have sold out.
