The SOLGM Annual Summit is the annual gathering of local government professionals from councils around New Zealand. It is an opportunity to explore new and emerging trends, participate in discussions facilitated by local government chief executives and network with sector peers.
The Summit also connects local government decision makers to partners from the private sector as well as central government officers who work closely with local government. The 2017 Summit, held in Rotorua in September, attracted 280 delegates, mostly local government Chief Executives and senior managers.
