Exciting news! On Tuesday 21 May we are getting a new website! Our current website will be down on this day while we migrate to our new site – we apologise for any inconvenience caused. The new website will feature many new features including a dashboard where you will be able to keep track of your learning and events as well as updating your contact details plus a new refreshed look and feel.

NZ’s first adopter of Datacom’s band new council software solution, Datascape – Porirua City Council

The council was looking for a digital and mobile solution that would put customers and the community right at the heart of its organisation and Datascape was chosen as the best match for such a need. How Local Government Works e-learning
SOLGM’s ‘LG How Local Government Works®’ programme is a fantastic online suite of e-learning courses aimed at introducing both new and existing employees to the legislative environment of local government.
The programme comprises six e-learning courses, covering a variety of topics and providing an understanding of what makes local government different from any other sector.
There’s something for everyone, as the programme has been specifically designed in such a way that it can form part of a standard council induction programme for all staff, regardless of their role, location or area of expertise. The programme is also beneficial for those moving to a new role in a different area of local government.
