Because participation in the Management Challenge will:

  • Forge strong bonds with your team mates
  • Create relationships with others in other councils
  • Instil pride and a sense of achievement
  • Build your knowledge and confidenceAnd – it’s also very rewarding and satisfying to represent your organisation in a competition against other council teams.

Don’t miss out – speak to your manager or HR department about entering a team today!

Awards, Scholarships and Overseas Exchanges

Last year, the Excellence Award for Better Regulation and Policy went to New Plymouth District Council for their Draft Digital District Plan.

The judges said that New Plymouth was one of the first councils in the country to adopt a working digital district plan and it was clearly transferable to other councils.

Does your council have a robust and evidence-based policy or regulatory initiative that could be transferable to other local authorities?

If so, why not submit an entry for the Tompkins Wake Award for Better Regulation and Policy?
