Get your team together for the New Zealand leg of the Australasian Management Challenge! In the NZ Leg, teams compete in a one day simulation-based challenge. Generally, teams are led by a tier 2 ‘mentor’ and comprised of six tier 3 professionals with diverse skills. If your council is large, you can send multiple teams. If your council is quite small, you can send a composite team.
The winners of the NZ leg - sponsored by JLT and held in Wellington in mid-March next year - go on to represent New Zealand at the Australasian Finals. There they compete against the winning teams from the seven Australian states. New Zealand teams have an exceptional record at the finals with two firsts, a second and a third place over the last four years!

Exchange Managers report back
The recipients of our 2017 Overseas Manager exchanges have started reporting back. Illinois recipient Ken Morris has just been to the ICMA conference. New South Wales recipient Shanine Raggett is a long way from Nelson (750km inland from Sydney to be precise)! Read their blog posts here.
