This is our annual event that celebrates the outstanding achievements of local government professionals. Pre-dinner drinks commence at 5.30pm with the formal part of the evening beginning at 6.30pm.

Announcements being made at the dinner include:

> The six category winners and the Supreme Winner of the 2017 McGredy Winder Taituarā Local Government Excellence Awards

> The winner of the Brookfields Emerging Leader of the Year Award

> The winning team in New Zealand leg of the Australasian Management Challenge

> The recipients of our Leadership Scholarships and our Overseas Manager Exchanges

Dress code for the evening is Cocktail.

The Marketplace

From midday on the 12th of April we'll be holding The Marketplace at The Langham. This is an exhibition space for councils that have entered the Excellence Awards so that they can showcase their projects in the afternoon prior to the Gala Dinner. It was a very successful initiative that we first offered in 2016 (see photos below). Entry to The Marketplace is free.
