Registration for the 2009 LGMA Management Challenge is now open!
The NZ Society of Local Government Managers is now calling for entries from New Zealand local authorities to enter a team in the 2009 LGMA Management Challenge.
The Challenge is an effective professional development programme that is designed around the local government environment using real-life problem solving experiences and hands-on approach to skill development. The benefits of the programme are enduring and relevant for everyone.
We believe that regardless of size, every New Zealand local authority can benefit tremendously from the Challenge. For councils who may face difficulty in fielding a team of six can join up with another Council. Forming a composite team will provide the team a range of experience and knowledge and will bring together perspectives and strengths of two different organisations.
