The New Zealand Post Group is the activity sponsor of the New Zealand Post Group Local Government Excellence Awards.
Each year, SOLGM and NZ Post Group recognises local government projects that showcase best practices, innovation and excellence across New Zealand local government. These Awards are the only awards that are solely for local government.
In 2009, the New Zealand Post Group Local Government Excellence Award categories include:
- Improved Local Regulation
- Joined-Up Local Government
- Council- Community Relationships
- Building Organisational Capability
Entries for the 2009 New Zealand Post Local Government Excellence Awards are now closed. Awarding ceremonies will be held at the 2009 SOLGM Annual Conference on 6-8 September at Palmerston North.
