MWH is a leading provider of local authority engineering, planning, environmental and general management services and proud to be a principal sponsor of SOLGM.
In 2001, we helped 78% of New Zealand local authorities with appropriate, effective solutions to their problems. This year we are on track to achieve this again.
Working from our network of 21 offices around New Zealand, we have established strong relationships with our local authority clients. Our local presence ensures our understanding of local issues. Through the backup of our national and international colleagues we bring the latest in best-practice to deliver appropriate solutions that meet client needs.
Our team of over 500 staff in New Zealand covers a very wide range of disciplines. Our track record is equally comprehensive. We are proven-performers in developing and managing local authority water, wastewater, stormwater, solid waste, road, building and energy assets. Our projects range from asset management to asset development, from small scale to some of the most technically-challenging in the country. Across them all, we pride ourselves on our ability to identify and deliver the most efficient and effective solutions. And these achievements are recognised by the industry, with three of our local authority projects winning honours in the 2002 ACENZ Awards.
Following the recruitment of well-known local government personality Brian Sharplin, we have added a new general management service to our local government service mix. Brian’s team can assist with organisational and peer reviews, business continuity planning and other risk management services, mediation and triple bottom line reporting.
