Downer EDi Works, is your one-stop-shop for engineering and asset management services and supplies. We have unparalleled experience in all facets of road, rail and utility construction, maintenance and asset management. We also provide specialist technical services and are major suppliers of bitumen, asphalt and related value-added products and services.
Our customers include Local Government, Central Government and public and private companies, e.g. rail, forestry, utilities, developers.
Our national network of operating locations covers the whole of New Zealand (including the Chatham Islands!). Operating locations are supported by our Auckland-based national office, which also manages our specialist technical services, water and utilities services, bitumen and asphalt supplies and business development. Depending on customer’s needs, we are able to offer a full range of contract services and are leaders in the development of performance-specified or outcome-based contracts.
The Downer EDI Group encompasses five fully owned divisions that jointly form a service-orientated, multi-disciplined organisation focussed on infrastructure maintenance, engineering construction, telecommunications, mining and resource services. The Group employs more than 11,000 people and we provide services across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific and North East and South East Asia.
