Audit New Zealand has been a strong supporter of the Society of Local Government Managers for many years. We are pleased to continue this close association through our sponsorship of the 2002 SOLGM annual conference.
Audit New Zealand is a business unit of the Audit Office and New Zealand's largest provider of audit and assurance services to local government. We continue to build on our understanding of this sector and its particular challenges through ongoing work with 79 of the country's local authorities, regular participation in sector groups and our own sector briefings.
Audit New Zealand has as its primary goal the protection and enhancement of public sector excellence. Our sponsorship and participation in SOLGM's Conference 2002 is one more way we can put this commitment into practice.
