Hamish Harwood an Associate from Simpson Grierson’s Local Government Team will present this short webinar describing the key parts of the Amendment Act.

The webinar will be focused around the following topics:

- The new risk based approach to assessing and remediating EQP buildings.

- The process and time frames for identifying and remediating EQP Buildings.

- Other associated issues from the Act.

The webinar will also set the path for further potential written guidance or a more detailed webinar that focuses on ‘Are you Ready?’, and what councils need to be to do before the legislation takes effect once regulations have been drafted.

The content of this webinar is applicable across a wide spectrum of Local Government roles including Chief Executives, Executive bodies, LG Lawyers, those with Finance, Corporate and Governance roles, Building Consents teams, LG Environmental and Strategic Planners and Regulatory Managers and Staff.
