ICMA Conference Attendance Awards

About the ICMA Conference

The ICMA Annual Conference is usually held in September.

Applications for the ICMA Conference Attendance Awards are called for in June via the SOLGM Member Newsletter.

SOLGM Full Members who have not attended an ICMA Annual Conference in the past are eligible for the ICMA Conference Attendance Awards.

Each year, three SOLGM Full Members are awarded with a travel grant of $3,000 plus GST to attend the ICMA Conference.

Recipients will be responsible for the remainder of the costs such as accommodation and conference registration.

They are also asked to write a short article and report about their experience at the conferences to be published by SOLGM.
