Testimonial

Matt O’Mara, Chief Executive of the Stratford District Council attended the Mt Eliza Leading for Strategic Success programme in September 2016.

“The Leading for Strategic Success residential development programme is a fantastic programme for anyone wanting to stretch themselves beyond the day to day leadership challenges and analyse where they need to further develop their strategic leadership skillset. The cohort on my particular course ranged from an ex SAS Commander through to private sector Chief Executives and senior staff. While at times the course was somewhat confronting everyone attending, myself included, took away many personal insights gained from the attendees and facilitators alike. The 2 facilitators had a vast body of knowledge. The course was interspersed with practical but challenging exercises designed to stretch attendees. I have been on lots of senior leadership development courses but I genuinely came away with personal insights into my own leadership development goals and a handle on my blind spots. It also provided me with a number of strategic tools to put into practice back in the office and a great understanding of what motivates me as a leader.”
